Middle Drawer Productions offers full-service creative video production, from conceptualization through all phases of production and post-production. We specialize in bringing high quality production value to small and local businesses with modest budgets. Our goal is to create memorable messages that cut through the clutter and connect with viewers on an emotional level: laugh, cry, intrigue, amuse…whatever makes people remember who you are.

Origin
Comcast Spotlight
The origin of Middle Drawer Productions can be circuitously traced to 2004 when Scott Siskin began working at Comcast Spotlight. He came aboard as an Avid Editor and was soon promoted to Producer, creating commercials for the South Florida market. Prior to this, Scott was living in Los Angeles, working on a variety of film and TV projects.

Plot Point 1
Bluwave Productions
In 2009, Bluwave Productions was formed to take over as Comcast Spotlight’s Video Production partner in the southeast. Scott then transitioned from being a Producer with Comcast Spotlight to being a Producer with Bluwave Productions.

Production Supervisor South Florida
In 2012, Scott was promoted to Bluwave’s Production Supervisor in South Florida and began building a team of Producers that set the standard both for sales and creativity throughout the company.

Don Pablo Coffee & MDP
In 2018, Comcast again decided to change the way in which they source video production so Bluwave Productions ceased to exist. Scott joined friend and client Don Pablo Coffee to begin creating content for their brands and partnered with them to create Middle Drawer Productions to continue producing spots for the South Florida market. They also began construction on the studio complex on-site called Don Pablo Studios.

MDP New Site
We arrive in present day with this newly created website that will hopefully signal a new day and continued growth for Middle Drawer Productions. The portfolio on this site contains work from Scott’s time with Bluwave Productions, including 3 Spot Of The Year winners, and currently with Don Pablo Coffee and Middle Drawer Productions. Enjoy!

At Middle Drawer Productions, we are able to keep our prices affordable for our clients by scaling the production according to the needs of the project. While the crew that you meet on your set may be larger depending on what’s required, these are the core three people that are typically involved in every shoot.
