Erol
“Erol” was the very first collaboration we had with Rand Eye Institute in 2011. Mary Ann Tardiff was the Account Executive for Comcast Spotlight and she introduced us to Jackie Sandoval at Rand Eye Institute. Jackie wanted to do a spot based around former patient Erol Zeren. None of this was written, but rather Erol was interviewed in several picturesque locations in Miami Beach and the spot was edited out of that.
This is somewhat cringe-worthy watching now (in 2023) but this was an attempt to raise the bar regarding quality of local spots of the time. While it is barely ok now, it was the beginning of a very fruitful and enjoyable collaboration with Rand Eye.
