They Call Me Don Pablo

“They Call Me Don Pablo” is the second commercial we shot for Don Pablo Coffee.  Darron took me to Colombia for this one and showed me a video made by a wine company for inspiration.  That piece had a similar sense of stateliness, of history and heritage, also shot in black in white.

We shot Darron’s on-camera piece in Miami and all the B-roll footage in Colombia.  It was quite an adventure and a pleasure to see that part of the world.  We were also very happy with the way this came out.  It became a classic for Don Pablo Coffee.
